Jacob answered,”My life of wandering has lasted a
hundred and thirty years. Those years have been few and
difficult, unlike the long years of my ancestors in their
wanderings.”

If the only option available is “allow us access to your address-book if you want to use the App", would any user who wants to benefit from the services of the App, not say ‘Yes!’. What privacy is worth does not just depend on ‘whether’ you have asked for consent but also ‘how’ you asked for it! Which made me think, loud. It’s time. Even I am one of those people who doesn’t think sharing information , as radically as I do is a danger to me(it is!!) or can be used against me( OH god) but this article I read told me otherwise. And this is why,I went all over the internet and catalogued a good week’s reading for you on DATA, PRIVACY AND SAFETY (which btw, all are different terms and not synonymous)

= Privacy Paradox
https://www.facebook.com/notes/mark-zuckerberg/a-privacy-focused-vision-for-social-networking/10156700570096634/- private messaging, ephemeral stories, and small groups are by far the fastest growing areas of online communication, so says Markie.
There is an opportunity to build a platform that focuses on all of the ways people want to interact privately. Mark also marked that I expect future versions of Messenger and WhatsApp to become the main ways people communicate on the Facebook network.
And somehow now when it’s time, I am not liking so many changes. I DO WELL WITH CHANGE BUT not when it involves technology, then I am a noob, defied of logic as to why privacy always costs fun and vis versa.
He also remarked as to how “there are a lot more details and tradeoffs to work through related to each of these principles.” But then also, “working through these principles is only the first step in building out a privacy-focused social platform.” Which leaves so much to think about and ponder.

I must have felt really gloomy after reading how this pandemic is turning out to be a bad emo movie - https://asia.nikkei.com/Life-Arts/Life/India-s-Benarasi-handloom-sari-faces-extinction
And now onto something rewarding and admirable to read- SSC for Sir Sean Connery! https://www.scotsman.com/news/uk-news/sir-sean-connery-imperfect-man-perfect-star-3021224
Hope you enjoy this twitter thread as much as I did-
Watch and Why- Thrill me lovely🔥
https://uproxx.com/movies/best-thrillers-on-netflix-ranked-now/
Now, what I didy do do is rate and tell you in a word what kind of movies are the ones I watched from the lot. I haven’t watched Nightcrawler yet and I have no idea why I have ‘decided’ not to. I always skip it. Like a well founded reaction where I duck and try to stimuli into believing that I wont like this rather Oscar winning performance because awards and critics have overplayed the whole
but,
😜 I will tell you what exactly you should watch and why:-
The Silence Of The Lambs (1991)- MUST WATCH, ANY TIME AND you will be blown away.
Zodiac (2007)- Such a bad bad movie and too hyped. Read the blogs instead.
Fargo (2006)- Again, TV>MOVIE and this reminds me to remind you to watch FARGO or unsubscribe and shooo
The Killing Of a Sacred Deer (2017)- I DNF'ed this. Don’t have a reason but felt it wasn’t good timing which I think matters with movies of such kinds. Its like watching the amazing, talent ripe and juiciest kind of theater like the end of the fuck*** world and feeling frustrated.
The Invisible Guest (2016)- Better than what we talked till now in terms of that list where we put everything we cant judge too notoriously as ‘ A decent one time watch’.
The Invitation (2016)- Easily one of my favourites from this list. Just watch- ‘A decent one time watch’ *wink wink*
I added Blue Ruin after reading this list, so people who say I don’t get influenced easily- oh, i am the most vulnerable. LOL
It Comes At Night (2017)- I didn’t like it so much. Its meh.

https://www.thecut.com/2019/07/bruce-hay-paternity-trap-maria-pia-shuman-mischa-haider.html This is definitely the most eye opening account of a story which I think you should read.
https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2019/07/mh370-malaysia-airlines/590653/ - I have been closely following the mystery surrounding MH370. This article is GOLD. And what a mystery right?
There was no effort by someone at the controls to bring the airplane down gently. It shattered. There is still a chance, Gibson thinks, of finding the equivalent of a message in a bottle—a note of desperation scribbled by someone in his or her last moments on the doomed airplane. On the beaches, Gibson has found a few backpacks and a large number of purses, all of which have been empty. The closest he has come to finding such a note, he says, was a message written in Malay on the underside of a baseball cap. Translated, it read, “To whom it may concern. My dear friend, meet me at the guesthouse later.”
https://www.wired.com/2009/08/gone-forever-what-does-it-take-to-really-disappear/- Talking about disappearing, a rented cabin in the foothills of the Ozarks on the picturesque Little Red River, an hour from Searcy, Sheppard tells you what it takes to really disappear. The urge to disappear, to shed one's identity and reemerge in another, surely must be as old as human society. Just because I have supposedly piqued your interest, lets ratatat, https://time.com/5532711/mysterious-unsolved-disappearances/ which gives you some juice and this essay on Reflections on two seasons of loss
I am also trying to bring more and more articles and links which focus on the beauty and inclusivity of other news houses and medias for your reading pleasure.
Parting notes⬇
In an era of darkness, the point of living successfully is not learning something and excelling at it. you're not a poet from the 5th century who was probably paid more than the doctor and priests have always earned more. more. more. there are professions which are deemed to be nihilistic and not revered even though they are skillful, really difficult(take for instance the plumber with whom you haggled last week or the mason, who will die before he turns to be 30)
Have you ever asked yourself why? why, for instance prostitution (When you see the pink-colored poster for the Italian series “Baby,” the last thing you’d imagine is a story of underage prostitution inspired by real events, but the third season of the Netflix show continues to unravel the dark, hidden lives of a pair teenagers), which one was a highly revered job profile is now illegal- it’s all because of timing. It’s not about you. It’s never about you. It’s always about the world. Where you are in relation to the world you are living in. Become something which fits, and most successes are misfits. There lies the true paradox of this whole thing.
I am also glad because Universe hs faith in what I think and do, maybe? I like the fact that you reading a piece of gratitude I have of all the things I have learnt and understood because of people like you and me. Who categorically do things they enjoy, replicate them and that’s what I have done with my newsletter- trying to do what I love which many others are doing. In my last post, i had given a list of people I follow and i wait for, because they are simply awesome, savvy and you need someone in your mail box who is more savvier than you and I.
A newsletter is personal and also not personal. This Newsletter told me things nobody had. or will. read it. This piece is read worthy too. Thats just to pique you about a certain category. But more than so, I am reverse branding too? And I am being honest about it? What does that make me?

words of fire, wild
🍒To be or not to be🍒
with the first words of us,
i remember I didn’t really speak much
you didn’t really bother (to hear)
i asked you who was Saijou Yaso
and you sang "Willows of Ginza" ( I understand now that he composed the willows one day in Ginza)
it was winters, but you sang like spring
Our little shukushoukai (meet)
ended with your lips on mine
you didnt really kiss (just the upper lip, just hanging)
I shyed away in a roomful of people
and you cornered me with, "We're like dwarves in a waldo,"
and i believed you
our hearts got tangled, our Suica's ( Metro cards) mixed
I had your route in my hand; you had mine in your purse
I asked you in English if you could shove me some japanese
and if you liked Batman?
you understood the batman for Battoman( bad man) and said NO
I was to shy to point the White man in Black on your white shirt
Since, we have sat together reading Sabra's from the comfort of
ME, an inn (waiting for your call to come home and once more kiss you for the night)
You, waiting for another song to pass your lips
Find a kiss and then under the dark pretence of not knowing English,
Pass men from men, your holy Akinai
How you don’t want the same man twice, to stand in front of you
how (Masumasu) do you want to use us creatures
under the pretence of a song you don't even know
mother knows in my pauses and rhythm,
things which I try to hide in my processions and digressions
my fitfulness lingers like a howl,
which the jackal made with a scowl (on missing the moon in the shadow of the trees)
What I lack in Rumi terms and Bukowski's late night rums,
I make up in plenty by the barrel gun, imitating Chandler's puns
Editor’s Note: If you like or don’t like something, there are two things you can do with whatever you graze here or read through-
If you like something, clap your hands, move forward. ✌
What I am really interested in is- what you didn’t like and I would love to know everything you think I am doing wrong here. What I should include and what would make a difference?😄
Anyone, who gives me a good two old shoes advice shall get a 15 minute call from me discussing them and whatever the hell they want.
^ Does this count as a giveaway?☺😂
XOXO till then!
Hope you spread the word around as this is very important to me and I can only wish. Fishhhhh
